Yin Yoga is an amazing form of meditative hatha yoga which holds certain poses in deep, slow stretches, sometimes up to 5 minutes. Challenging in its own right, yin yoga targets the connective tissue of the body, particularly improving the mobility of ligaments, bones and joints of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. It is a perfect complement to more dynamic styles of yoga such as Ashtanga and vinyasa, and also to the majority of sports. On this workshop we will look into the how’s, where’s and why-for’s of Yin Yoga. We will explore the Yin Yoga poses in-depth and build sequences for a home practice. Yoga teachers will find the workshop a wonderful compliment to their existing teaching. £250 includes all tuition, accommodation and meals £50 deposit required to secure your place.
