There is no formal final exam,
giving you the freedom to complete your diploma at a pace that suits you.

There are 3 parts to the assessment:

1. Development of your personal practice as training progresses:
Being a yoga teacher is not about how flexible you are, or how perfect you look in an asana…
we are all different and we encourage individuality in our teachers.
The style of yoga you enjoy practicing is a personal choice,
and we will help you find your path and allow you to deepen your personal practice.
This ongoing assessment will include development of your personal practice,
 participation in group discussions
and your ability to share your experiences with other trainees.

2.hOMe-work and assignments
We realise you probably have a fairly busy life,
so there is no pressure to complete all the homework within the timeframe of the 2 modules,
so you can balance the coursework with your home and work life.
You will not have pages and pages of essays to write,
however there is some reading and researching the different asana on a deeper level.

3.Teaching skills
On CYTT we spend a good deal of time developing your teaching skills,
so by the time you start teaching professionally you will be well prepared.
There will be a teaching assessment where you get to teach a class to members of the public.
This assessment is usually scheduled towards the end of the course,
however it can be completed at a later mutually agreed date.

Qualification is achieved with 100% attendance of modules 1 & 2
and successfully completing the assessments.

We know everybody learns differently,
so you will receive help and encouragement on an individual basis.
