Anatomy and Physiology in relation to teaching and practicing Yoga
Looking into how the human body acts and reacts to yoga,
the science of stretching
and understanding and assessing different body types and abilities,
including and introduction to pre- and post-natal yoga

In-depth study of 40 asanas
Understanding the reasoning behind each asana,
including sun and moon salutes and vinyasa,
with practical emphasis on safety, alignment and assisting.

In-depth study of Breath and Pranayama
Looking into the subtleties and power of various pranayama and breathing techniques,
exploring ways to practice and teach them safely.

Introduction to Chakras, Chanting, Kundalini,
Kriya, Bandhas and Mudras

Developing awareness of and gaining an insight into the energy body,
that good stuff which makes yoga different from physical exercise.


Meditation and Visualisation
Exploring different approaches to allow your mind to rest!

Self Practice
Deepening your self-practice, taking yoga off the mat and finding out things of interest to you.

Relaxation
Letting go and completely relaxing in asanas, Savasana and life,
including the use of pressure point and some massage techniques in yoga.

Teaching skills and ethics
A tool-kit brimming full of teaching methods with plenty of supervised teaching practice.
