Regular Yoga Sessions

Image Whether you practice yoga regularly,
have never tried it before
or just haven’t been for ages,
you are welcome to join in as and when you can.

I teach an eclectic mix of holistic yoga which includes asana (postures), pranayama (breath work), dhyana (meditation), kriya (cleansing exercises), acupressure points and relaxation.

All sessions offer a little more stretch and challenge for those of you who are looking to further develop your practice, and plenty of guidance for those of you who are new to the practice.

All the sessions are drop-in, so no need to book, unless otherwise stated.

Just bring you, a yoga mat (if you have one – if not, I have some spare),
bottle of water, warm socks and a jumper,
blanket, a cushion and any props that you like to use.

When participating for the first time in a ChillOut workshop, class or training, you will be asked to fill out a participation form, including any health condition or injury. All information is kept confidential.

Please try to arrive 5/10 mins before the session starts so you can settle in and not disturb others once the session has begun. Try not to have anything heavy to eat before coming to yoga, although is advisable to have a light meal at least 2 hours prior to the yoga session.

You do not need to pay for parking at the Lodge for yoga sessions.

Practical emphasis on how to incorporate yoga into your everyday life
are a theme through all the different sessions,
so your yoga practice does not become restricted to your yoga mat!

Image "I have been practicing yoga for more than 30 years with many different teachers. It is only since having Brenda as a teacher that I have come to understand the real essence of yoga. No experience in life should ever be perceived as negative and my journey with yoga has been one upon which I have built at every stage. However there were many times when I compared myself to others and tried to be and achieve in ways that were not relevant to the person I am. Brenda has helped me to understand that yoga comes from within, to be able to be in tune with my own body without feeling the competition of others. I have discovered how to challenge myself while recognising my own limitations without feeling a failure.
Importantly Brenda’s classes are fun and delivered with intuition and empathy. "
