ChillOut WORKSHOPS at the Laughing Buddha Studio The theme of our 2012 workshops is to reduce stress with the Anti-Tension ToolKit
Aches and pains, tiredness, breathing problems, emotional tension and insomnia are a few of the effects of continual stress and muscular tension… something we all have to a greater or lesser degree, and gone unchecked can develop into phenomenal exaggerated pain and stress… but we can certainly learn to deal with our stresses so we can help avoid and lessen some of those unwelcome effects.
In our personal and professional experiences, we know that what works for one person may not necessarily work for another, so we are offering clear, concise practical holistic advice in our tool-kit of self-help workshops, including relaxation, meditation, NLP, visualisation and massage.
The aim is for you to use whatever tools you may need on a specific day - sometimes your muscles may ache and you can use the muscle release and massage, other times just coping with life may seem too much, so you may want to use self hypnosis and meditation…. If you can find what works for you, it will go a long way in helping to reduce stress. We also offer professional post-workshop support if needed.
The day workshops are 10.30am-4pm, (please arrive at 10am) costing £35. It includes lunch, herbal teas, coffee, fruit and biscuits.
Spaces limited to 8

Guide to Muscle Release Saturday 11 February 2012 Many of us have habitual muscle tension -sometimes without even realising it - where our muscles are in a constant state of ‘readiness’ – they never get a break or a chance to rest, and can be a significant factor in creating and exacerbating the effects of tension.
We’ll discover why we find it so hard to ‘let go’ of muscular tension, then make the ability of relaxing deep seated muscle tension accessible by working with the Active Muscle Release technique.
You’ll be amazed at the impact less muscle tension will have on your body and mind!
